#SETTING: A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION. BECAUSE THERE WAS A TIME, GUYS. THERE WAS A TIME WHEN THEY WERE LIKE THIS BEFORE TOO. When Stefan and Damon played football and laughed and wrestled and teased each other about who was cooler and smoother with the ladies and fought over some equivalent of the remote control in 1800s or something I DON’T CARE WHAT IT WAS but it was stupid and they fought over iiiiiiit. (The newspaper? WHATEVER STEFAN WANTED TO READ THE NEWS AND DAMON JUST WANTED THE FUNNIES. omg this is all so historically inaccurate.) And sometimes they hugged and patted each other on the back like manly men and TOUCHED EACH OTHER’S FACES JUST LIKE THAT and had to face their dick of a father togehterrrr and their dad always loved Stefan better but Stefan always loved Damon better than anything in the whole world so Stefan stood up for him and Damon appreciated it and hated it all at once and he took so much responsibility for his stupid younger idiot sibling because he loved him just and much. And Stefan looked up to him so much and he just wanted to be just like his big brother and keep him from doing stupid things he actually admired so much because you know Damon would get emotional and passionate about things he cared about and go forward with no regard for etiquette or safety just on principle. And all Damon wanted was for Stefan to grow up and be happy and not have to deal with fighting in a brutal war and seeing men die and being alone and he was happy in a twisted way their dad loved Stefan better because it meant he had that in his life just like Damon had their mom for so short a time and OH MY GOD I CAN’T FEEL ANYMORE. WHAT IS THIS GAPING HOLE IN MY CHEST. WHAT WAS THERE BEFORE THIS HOLLOWNESSSSSS. #OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
